During oil and gas production we frequently monitor fluid composition across a field in order to consider well by well production allocation. Equally single well fluid composition may be monitored to assess the contributions from dual/ multiple completions. The introduction of of costly wax and asphaltene precipitation may be monitored as well as undesirable H2S, Hg and other contaminants.
